CentraState selects MobileMD for HIE

CentraState Healthcare System, a nonprofit community health organization in Freehold, N.J., selected health information exchange (HIE) software developer MobileMD to provide HIE services to its physicians and offices, nursing homes, imaging centers, laboratories and other clinicians within its medical community.

Under the agreement, MobileMD will deploy its 4D HIE across CentraState’s provider network. MobileMD will handle setup, configuration, maintenance and support of the HIE technologies, the Warminster, Pa.-based company stated.

Once integration is complete, CentraState stated it anticipates its entire provider network of physicians, physician extenders, nurses, labs, imaging centers and other providers to be fully connected and interoperable.
