Essent Healthcare sets e-ordering sights on Wolters Kluwer

Essent Healthcare, a health system based in Nashville, Tenn., will equip its five hospitals with Wolters Kluwer Health’s ProVation Order Sets software, powered by UpToDate Decision Support.

The order set software features customizable authoring and management tools that integrate with clinical processes to assist in delivery of care for patient safety, outcomes, clinician performance and regulatory compliance, according to the Philadelphia-based Wolters Kluwer Health.

Essent Healthcare owns and operates Merrimack Valley Hospital in Haverhill, Mass.; Nashoba Valley Medical Center in Ayer, Mass.; Paris Regional Medical Center in Paris, Texas; Sharon Hospital in Sharon, Conn.; and Southwest Regional Medical Center in Waynesburg, Penn.
