CDW, Greenway Medical partner for EHR tool

CDW Healthcare and EHR software provider Greenway Medical Technologies have partnered to deliver an EHR utilizing Greenway's PrimeSUITE offering.

PrimeSUITE 2011 has been certified by the Certification Cmmission for Health IT as a Complete EHR that supports the 2011/2012 criteria for Stage 1 meaningful use. IT can be used to qualify eligible providers and hospitals for funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), according to Greenway, of Carrollton, Ga.

The speed with which a practice implements an EHR and adapts to the new workflow is critical in minimizing adoption costs, according to a recent report from the Vernon Hills, Ill.-based CDW. Greenway and CDW can provide hardware, software and service tools to facilitate the process, CDW said.
