Ohio children's hospital selects Medicity for HIE service

The Children's Medical Center of Dayton (Dayton Children's), a nonprofit children's hospital serving 20 counties in Ohio and eastern Indiana, has selected Medicity to implement bidirectional HIE, connecting the medical center, affiliated physicians and other partners in its healthcare community.

Dayton Children's will deploy Medicity's Novo Grid infrastructure to distribute results, reports and face sheets from the hospital's clinical systems and registration systems to community providers.

The same infrastructure will push laboratory and radiology orders back to the hospital, according to Medicity, of Salt Lake City.
