Ontario hospital to share patient data with QuadraMed EMR

Providence Care, a health services provider based in Kingston, Ontario, has selected QuadraMed’s computerized-patient record (QCPR) EMR to drive regional patient data sharing.

Providence Care will implement QCPR, QuadraMed Enterprise Scheduling (QES) and QuadraMed Electronic Document Management (QEDM) at St. Mary's of the Lake Hospital (144-bed hospital), Mental Health Services (198-bed hospital), Providence Manor (243-bed long-term care home) and 18 community locations across southeastern Ontario.

Providence Care will join with Kingston General Hospital and Hotel Dieu Hospital to create an integrated installation of QuadraMed that will be shared between the three hospitals and provide patient care for the residents of Kingston and the surrounding area, the Reston, Va.-based company stated.
