InSite, Xeikona Medical Solutions deploy data archive in South Africa

Data storage and disaster recovery company InSite One has signed an international distribution agreement with Xeikona Medical Solutions in Johannesburg, South Africa, for the deployment of its vendor neutral enterprise archive, InDex.

The archive will be distributed by Xeikona as a central data repository for clinical data in hosted data centers. Initially, the technology will be leveraged to manage healthcare screenings and share diagnostic imaging and related reports for the mining industry in South Africa, according to the Wallingford, Conn.-based company.
