Voalt, Meru partner for clinical communication

Voalté has entered into a strategic partnership with enterprise wireless networking company Meru Networks.

Voalté’s mobile applications enable users to send and receive presence-based text messages, make voice calls across hospital VoIP systems and receive alarms on the iPhone, the Sarasota, Fla.-based communications company stated.

Coupled with Meru’s Voiceover Wireless LAN (VoWLAN) technology, Voalté provides a communications tool for VoIP needs in the clinical environment, the company concluded.
