Maryland hospital selects Wolters' ProVation order sets

Union Hospital of Cecil County, a 122-bed nonprofit hospital located in Elkton, Md., has selected business intelligence software developer Wolters Kluwer Health’s ProVation order sets, powered by UpToDate Decision Support, as the organization's electronic order set program.

ProVation Order Sets is an order set authoring and management tool providing integration into clinical processes, the Minneapolis-based company stated. One Click Updates will alert users at Union to evidence that may trigger the need to modify order sets; enabling them to review updates and apply them across multiple order sets.

In addition to integrated links to UpToDate, ProVation order sets can link additional clinical resources based upon Union’s needs and preferences, the company added.
