Sprint, AirStrip team up for remote patient monitoring
AirStrip Technologies is collaborating with Sprint to provide remote patient monitoring applications on Sprint smart phones.
The applications developed by AirStrip will deliver vital waveform and other patient data from hospital monitoring systems to mobile devices, allowing clinicians to continually monitor vital signs, the San Antonio-based mobile medical software company stated.
The companies will provide a remote patient monitoring bundle that includes Sprint's in-building service coverage and AirStrip technology for hospitals that agree to expand or extend an enterprise commitment to the Sprint network for more of their employees, according to Sprint, based in Overland Park, Kan.
