Carestream upgrades Intermountain Health from CR to DR

Carestream Health has signed a contract with Salt Lake City-based nonprofit health system Intermountain Healthcare for the implementation of its Carestream DRX-1 Systems and Carestream DRX-Mobile Retrofit Kits, which will upgrade the health system from CR and film-based imaging systems to DR.

According to the Rochester, N.Y.-based company, the DR systems will allow Intermountain to utilize existing room-based and portable imaging systems, and the retrofit kit also will enable existing mobile x-ray systems to deliver digital capture using DRX-1 detectors.
