Addus Healthcare adds telephony to 19 locations

Addus Healthcare, a medical and social services provider, has implemented CellTrak Technologies’ telephony product in 19 of its home and community services branch offices.

CellTrak integrates with McKesson Horizon Homecare’s scheduling, billing, care plan management, and authorization tracking and management system; interactive voice response (IVR) capabilities from CareWatch; and CellTrak's mobile point-of-care software, the Schaumburg, Ill.-based company stated.

Each home care aide has access to a mobile device or to touch-tone-based IVR while providing care onsite using the company’s technology.

In addition, CellTrak’s GPS mileage monitoring provides connectivity between home care providers and service coordinators working in the branch offices. These features are included in CellTrak’s web-based Visit Manager Console, allowing a home care agency to monitor and manage visit-related activities, the company added.
