Novation to distribute Hitachi's ultrasound

Healthcare supply contracting company Novation will distribute Hitachi Medical Systems America's ultrasound systems under an Ultrasound Group Buy opportunity, which began Sept. 1 and will continue until Dec. 31.

Via the fourth quarter group buy agreement, the company will offer its ultrasound systems--the Hi Vision 5500 system and the Hi Vision Preirus system--to members of Novation's network, including VHA, University HealthSystem Consortium and group purchasing organization Provista, stated Tokyo-based Hitachi.
