Carestream converts Georgia clinic to digital x-ray

Healthcare IT provider Carestream Health is helping to convert LaGrange, Ga.-based Emory Clark-Holder Clinic from a film to digital workflow with its DRX-1 and Elite CR Systems.

The clinic has purchased Carestream’s DR system-which features immediate image review and positioning flexibility with its wireless detector- for its primary general radiology room and will employ the system for long-length exams, stated the Rochester, N.Y.-based company.

The CR system will serve two additional x-ray rooms through the use of a remote operations panel in the second room, and a second CR system will be installed in an affiliated primary care practice located in West Point, Ga., Carestream said.
