Corepoint, IPeople offer Meditech interfacing tool

Corepoint Health and Interface People (IPeople) have collaborated to offer a bidirectional interfacing tool for Meditech hospitals.

Corepoint Integration Engine is an integration platform used to manage interface connections and facilitate communication of electronic data between healthcare vendor applications, according to Frisco, Texas-based Corepoint.

IPeople, based in Lewisville, Texas, provides an interface tool that connects a Meditech hospital information system to Corepoint Integration Engine, and also provides the programming needed to establish the connections, Corepoint stated.

Corepoint Health provides the interface engine and services to map data from various ancillary and EMR applications to Meditech, and includes a web-based console to manage the integrated environment efficiently, Corepoint added.
