Agfa lands nursing management agreement in Belgium

Agfa HealthCare has signed an agreement with Ziekenhuis Oost-Limburg (Eastern Limburg Hospital Group) of Limburg, Belgium for the installation of its nursing management system, Orbis Care.

According to the Mortsel, Belgium-based company, the system will be installed within the three hospital sites, and provide patients' histories, including all images and data to authorized nursing, technical and medical staff.

The system also will facilitate nursing documentation, planning of nursing activities and the automatic deriving of nursing scores, Agfa added.
