MedLink, Thrasys align on cloud-based HIE for RHIOs, large hospitals

MedLink has entered into a partnership with Thrasys to provide interoperability and health record management based on the San Francisco-based Thrasys’ SyntraNet, a cloud-based health information exchange (HIE) and collaboration network.

According to MedLink, the companies will market the cloud-based HIE platform to regional health information organizations (RHIOs) and large hospital groups as a tool for interoperability and provide cloud-based applications that leverage both companies’ technologies to assist EHR adoption.
