ViewRay secures $20M to fund MRI-guided radiotherapy system

ViewRay has received $20 million in series C financing led by investor Siemens Venture Capital, joining the company’s existing investors, Aisling Capital, Fidelity Biosciences, Kearny Venture Partners and OrbiMed Advisors.

According to Cleveland-based ViewRay, the funding will assist the company in moving its ViewRay MRI-guided radiation therapy system, now in the late stages of development, through commercialization and placement into major medical centers.
