NextGate updates MatchMetrix, releases three data mgmt suites
NextGate has released MatchMetrix 7, a master data management (MDM) platform used to build industry-specific indexes, and three MDM suites for healthcare organizations that are built on the MatchMetrix 7 MDM platform.
The MatchMetrix MDM Platform generates master data indexes enabling the management of information in multi-participant environments in a domain with the Access Manager allowing security profiling, monitoring and auditing, according to the Arcadia, Calif.-based company. One component of MatchMetrix 7 is the customizable Data Quality Manager allowing each suite to search, merge, unmerge and edit operations, the company added.
NextGate said that it has developed a range of healthcare-specific products using a MatchMetrix 7 foundation, including the updated MatchMetrix Enterprise Master Patient Index (EMPI), and new MatchMetrix Provider Index and MatchMetrix Terminology Index suites. The MatchMetrix EMPI, Provider Index and Terminology Index suites can be applied to individual in-house systems or an interconnected regional health information organization or community exchange, allowing connections between systems such as EHR, document management and inpatient clinical and financial applications, the company added.
