Quest subsidiary offers interoperability for Intermountain Healthcare

Intermountain Healthcare, a nonprofit health system based in Salt Lake City, will employ enterprise-wide EHR technology from MedPlus, a subsidiary of Quest Diagnostics.

According to Quest, MedPlus’ ChartMaxx EHR technology can now acquire data from one central Intermountain information source.

Cincinnati-based MedPlus and Intermountain have agreed to jointly participate in co-development projects that will provide ChartMaxx access to data and documents stored in a variety of hospital systems, said the company.
