Devanny leaves Cerner for TriZetto

Health IT company TriZetto has appointed Trace Devanny as its new CEO and member of the board of directors, effective July 19.

Prior to this appointment, Devanny served as the president of Cerner and was previously president and chief operating officer of ADAC Health Care Information Systems. In his role with TriZetto, he will lead the company from its new headquarters in Greenwood Village, Colo.

Former Trizetto CEO Jeff Margolis will continue as chairman of the board, said the company.
