RemoteScan releases iPad app

RemoteScan has released iRemoteScan for the iPad and iPhone so individuals can remotely operate scanners connected to PCs and workstations.

With iRemoteScan, documents and ID cards are scanned into iPads or iPhones from a standard document scanner, and scanned documents can then be imported into other applications, document software or emailed from the iPad or iPhone, according to the Missoula, Mont.-based RemoteScan.

The free iRemoteScan application can be found on the Apple iTunes store or on the company’s website and requires RemoteScan server software.
