InSite One updates archive technology

InSite One has released InDex software v6.1 enterprise archiving tools for sharing patient data, including patient identity matching and reconciliation features.

These new features adhere to IHE (Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise) standards framework and protocols, according to the Wallingford, Conn.-based company.

InDex 6.1 also provides XDS-I and WADO (Web Access to DICOM Objects), which allow an IHE-compliant document consumer to view data within the InDex archive, enhancing the integration opportunities with EMRs and personal health records, InSite One said. InDex 6.1 now offers an enhanced high-availability configuration that can address larger enterprise volumes and processing capacity among departments and with referring physicians using HL7 messaging feeds, and new DICOM routing tools.
