NaviNet to introduce web portal

NaviNet is planning to introduce a tool this year with integrated practice management and EMR capabilities to help physician practices manage patient information and office processes from one website.

The company also said it will expand its multi-payor web portal offerings by integrating with administrative, clinical and financial applications.

In addition to introducing new applications, the Cambridge, Mass.-based NaviNet is looking to partner with other health IT companies for its patient information management system. In February, NaviNet added tools from RelayHealth, including patient messaging and online patient bill pay, enabling communications from patient to provider to insurer. The company also entered into a joint integration and marketing agreement earlier this month with MEDecision to allow payors to deliver MEDecision Clinical Summaries to providers at time of care.
