Minnesota HIE conducts pilot with aging services
The Minnesota Health Information Exchange (MN HIE) will conduct a pilot project with Aging Services of Minnesota at 12 of their member settings. This group of care centers and assisted-living providers will use MN HIE’s standalone web services to view long-term care patients' clinical information.
MN HIE allows providers to view a patient’s clinical information that includes medication history, eligibility information, lab history, immunization history and clinical care documents.
More than 4.2 million Minnesota residents are currently represented in the MN HIE patient directory, allowing participating providers to exchange clinical and administrative information.
