NRC and SPEAG partner to offer MRI design software

The National Research Council Institute (NRC) for Biodiagnostics and Zurich-based Schmid & Partner Engineering (SPEAG) has partnered to offer a combined NRC-SPEAG software platform for MRI scanner design.

According to the institute, the platform integrates new tools for radio-frequency array design and post-processing in a single-user program, utilizing both SPEAG’s Semcad X solution for simulation, design, optimization and experimental validation and NRC’s Musaik software for coil design.
