DR Systems updates PACS with breast imaging capabilities

Image and information management systems provider DR Systems will be highlighting its Unity Women's Health Imaging PACS at the annual conference of the National Consortium of Breast Centers (NCBC) from March 20-24 in Las Vegas.

According to San Diego-based DR Systems, the Unity PACS is integrated with full-field digital mammography (FFDM), third-party computer-aided detection, breast MRI and breast ultrasound with automated regulatory compliance.

The product--which includes reporting and tracking functions and is designed to support image and non-image information--has been implemented in more than 60 sites across the U.S., said the company.
