LifeImage launches image management/exchange platform for trauma units

LifeImage, an Internet service provider of e-sharing for diagnostic imaging information, has released its internet-based Trauma Image Management & Exchange  platform for hospitals, radiology groups and physicians.

The Newton, Mass.-based company said that its technology could assist in the way critical diagnostic imaging information is shared during emergency transfers, by helping trauma units gather diagnostic imaging information early and share it with surgical teams and other care providers electronically.
