Carestream lands DRX install at Virginia hospital

Inova Alexandria Hospital in Alexandria, Va., has implemented the DRX-Evolution system from health IT provider Carestream Health into the new wing of its emergency department.

The system, which includes a gull wing wall stand that offers six-axis motion, as well as tilt and swing positioning to enable cross table exams, was purchased through Springfield, Va.-based X-Ray Visions, a reseller for Carestream’s medical imaging equipment in the Virginia, Maryland and Washington D.C. areas, said the Rochester, N.Y.-based company.
