Eastern Diagnostic Imaging, InfiMed ink distribution agreement
Eastern Diagnostic Imaging (EDI) and InfiMed have developed an original equipment manufacturer distribution partnership for the wireless technology in the portable x-ray environment, the i5 Mobile DR upgrade for GE Healthcare's AMX-4 and AMX-4+ portables.
The mobile DR offers Liverpool, N.Y.-based Infimed’s image processing software and a Varian Medical Systems DR wireless detector, said the company.
Taunton, Mass-based EDI said it expects shipments to begin toward the end of the first quarter of 2010, pending FDA approval.
