Sunquest debuts physician portal in U.S.

Sunquest Information Systems will introduce its Integrated Clinical Environment physician portal to the U.S. market this year.

The Integrated Clinical Environment technology is already available in the U.K., connecting laboratories and physicians by orchestrating EHR integration, Tucson, Ariz.-based Sunquest said.

More than 300,000 healthcare practitioners globally use the Integrated Clinical Environment, which supports the criteria for meaningful use, and can integrate laboratory results throughout the enterprise, the company said. It also can support the development of health information exchanges.
