eHealth Initiative names Bordenick as new CEO

The board of directors of the health nonprofit eHealth Initiative and Foundation Tuesday announced the appointment of Jennifer Covich Bordenick as CEO, effective immediately.

Covich has served the Washington, D.C.-based eHealth Initiative since 2001 and, prior to her appointment, acted as interim CEO and chief operating officer, the organization stated.

According to eHealth Initiative, Covich developed several programs, including the Annual Health Information Exchange Survey, the Partnership for Connecting Communities for Better Health program, eHI’s e-prescribing reports, the eHealth Initiative Toolkit and the Connecting Communities Coalition.
