DecisionOne to support Allscripts' clients

Technology support services company DecisionOne has forged a hardware maintenance agreement with the EHR provider Allscripts.

Under the terms of the agreement, the Devon, Pa.-based DecisionOne will integrate Allscripts internal hardware service personnel into its U.S. field service organization and will maintain the hardware infrastructure of Allscripts clients.

According to the Chicago-based Allscripts, this partnership will help to maintain service levels while the company prepares to meet the emerging demand for EHRs in the wake of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.
