BioImagene introduces digital pathology workstation

BioImagene has unveiled Crescendo, its new digital pathology workstation, this week at the 2009 College of American Pathologists conference in Washington, D.C.

The Crescendo worksation can pool data from health IT products such as laboratory information systems, PACS, gross images, online references (e.g., PathXchange.org) and differential patient information to provide pathologists with relevant information for their practice, according to the Sunnyvale, Calif.-based company.
