BronxRHIO taps Axolotl for EMR
The New York City-based Bronx Regional Health Information Organization (BronxRHIO) has signed a contract for Axolotl's Elysium Exchange suite.
This will allow BronxRHIO's healthcare providers to network disparate legacy hospital information systems (HIS) and offer health information exchange (HIE) capabilities through the EMR, according to the company.
The not-for profit BronxRHIO currently provides more than 80 percent of healthcare (to approximately 1.4 million residents) in the Bronx area, including hospitals, health systems, ambulatory care centers, individual physician offices, long-term care and home care services, according to the San Jose, Calif.-based Axolotl.
