UltraRAD releases next-generation DICOM archive

Medical image and information management technology developer UltraRAD of West Berlin, N.J., has released the latest iteration of its DICOM archive, UltraArchive 3.0.

According to the firm, the new version includes enhanced SQL optimization and it processes studies three times faster than the prior version. It features improved DICOM routing rules, new quality control wizards via a Web interface, advanced auto-routing and a starting package of 500 GB—which can be expanded to an unlimited size, according to UltraRAD.
