Konica Minolta Medical Imaging has introduced its FlexDR, an upright, flat-panel digital radiography system. The FDA-cleared FlexDR features an amorphous silicon and cesium iodide digital receptor for images with minimum x-ray exposure.

The sub-console mounted onto the FlexDR provides the capability for technologists to verify patient information, as well as control collimation and approve the image at the patient's side, according to the Wayne, N.J.-based company.
