Strategic partnership: Press Ganey acquiring Forsta

Press Ganey, a healthcare-focused patient experience company announced its intention to acquire human experience and research technology platform Forsta, the pair said Feb. 7.

The deal is expected to close in the first or second quarter of 2022 and will help Press Ganey grow its technology offerings and expand them globally. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Our unparalleled excellence in healthcare consulting, and proprietary data and analytics, will soon be infused with even more innovation and speed by Forsta’s world-class experience and research technology platform,” said Patrick T. Ryan, chairman and CEO, Press Ganey, in a prepared statement. “I’m beyond thrilled to welcome Forsta to the Press Ganey family. This is a huge leap forward in helping our customers to do their jobs better every day.”

The marriage of the two companies will provide Press Ganey’s clients access to a suite of customer and employee experience and market research technology. For its part, Forsta will gain access to new investment and growth opportunities along with enhanced consulting and change management experience.

Press Ganey manages almost 476 million patient engagements annually while Forsta’s Human Experience platform serves more than 5,000 customers worldwide, according to the statement.
