Oklahoma hospital administrators push for raise in tobacco tax

Administrators from hospitals and nursing homes in Oklahoma have shared their support for increasing the state’s tobacco tax by $1.50 per pack of cigarettes to help.

The plan is a response to Oklahoma’s proposed 25 percent cut to the Medicaid reimbursement rate.
