Alabama hospital donating scrubs to Kenya

Employees from Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, Ala., are holding a “Scrubs for Kenya” drive to collect scrubs that can be sent to a hospital in the East African nation.

Scrubs for Kenya has already received more than 500 donations, according to WAFF-TV. X-ray technician Ashley Barber was quoted in the story, explaining her views on donating.

"Why would you not donate?” Barber asked, as quoted by WAFF. “I mean you're helping somebody else. I mean why not? If you have extra or if you have some that you're not using, they're sitting in your closet. Why not give them to somebody else that can use them?"
