The now and future health ecosystem: Online presentation available

As healthcare consumers, Baby Boomers and Millennials have widely varying—and sometimes sharply competing—priorities, preferences and demands. Combined with technology-driven innovation, the situation is setting up a “Copernican moment” for healthcare organizations.

So writes Forbes contributor Dave Chase by way of introducing “The Future Health Ecosystem Today,” a 94-slide online presentation examining the forces, trends and demands transforming the industry.

“It’s no longer a marketing trope to be ‘patient-centric’—it’s a matter of survival,” writes Chase of one of the main challenges from the provider’s eye view. “In the past, behavior outside the clinic had little impact on healthcare providers. Going forward, it will be central to providers’ success (or failure).”
